Namibia Full Year 2019: Toyota Hilux leads, VW Polo Vivo, Amarok and T-Cross shine

We can now share with you 2019 data for Namibia thanks to our partnership with Lightstone and NAAMSA. Market leader Toyota (-18.1%) takes a harsh hit this year but easily remains #1, selling over 2.5 times the amount of #2 Volkswagen (-6.1%). Ford (-4.6%) eclipses a struggling Nissan (-48.1%) to step on onto the podium while Isuzu (+26.8%) is on a roll but says #5 ahead of Renault (-1.4%) and Mahindra. Over in the models ranking, the Toyota Hilux (-16.6%) remains ultra-dominant despite a steep fall, selling almost 4 times the amount of the VW Poli Vivo (+19.8%) up two spots on 2018 to #2 overall. The Nissan NP300/Hardbody (-41.4%), Ford Ranger (-5.8%) and Isuzu D-Max/KB make it 4 pickups in the Top 5 and the Toyota Land Cruiser PU (#8) and VW Amarok (#10) make it 6 in the Top 10. Finally, notice the VW T-Cross landing directly at #9 in the passenger cars ranking.
