Media post: The 2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo
Wondering how to ring in the new decade? How about taking a drive in the record-breaking 10-cylinder supercar known as the Lamborghini Huracan Evo! As our local Lambo dealer, Lamborghini Broward, explains Lamborghini is coming off a six-year high in the stock market, and it seems that things are about to get even better with this fantastic sports car. The first generation Huracan Evo was introduced last January, replacing the Performante while keeping the 631 horsepower and adding rear-wheel steering and torque vectoring. Challenging the Evo to a race is a pointless endeavor as the 610 horsepower can propel the Evo to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds or less. It’s less about beating the Evo off the line as it is watching the blur of the taillights fade into the distance.
Inside the Huracan Evo looks as postmodern as the outside. The seats are incredibly comfortable, and you can feel the soft embrace of the Alcantara leather when you put the pedal down. Seeing as how this is a high-powered race car, there is a lot of carbon fiber to behold. It not only keeps the Evo light and nimble, but also helps with beef up the sporty nature of the vehicle. Car enthusiasts are sure to love the little red cage over the engine start button. You will need to flip it up to press it, which always makes you feel that you are driving around in James Bond’s car. Tech features are impressive as the hi-definition touch screen in the middle of the center console is a marvel to behold. It’s incredibly responsive, and with a simple touch-swipe of the screen, you can bring up the navigation, climate control, and more. Apple CarPlay also works smoothly on the Huracan Evo.
Lambos always look sharp, and the Evo is no exception. The styling is aggressive as the Evo looks so sharp it could probably cut an apple or two. No matter how you look at it, the Evo is stunning as it looks like a vicious snake that is ready to slither down the road. The body also sits incredibly low, which can be jarring to those who have never ridden in a Lamborghini before. We promise you will get used to it and will begin to wonder why you were living so long without it.
Driving the Huracan Evo is the most fun you will ever have behind the wheel of a car. It feels light on its feet and takes corners at high speeds very efficiently. The powerful V10 will excite you every time you rev the engine. The dragstrip destroying action comes with three driver modes, including Strada, Sport, and Corsa. Strada is the default setup and the one that most people will drive the most, while Sport feels a bit more daring and will make the engine purr like a kitten. Corsa is the racetrack mode where you can unleash the beast to its full potential.
If you want a real sports car, you can’t do much better than the Lamborghini Huracan Evo. Shelving out money for the Evo has its advantages as you can waste everyone off the line on the racetrack each weekend. After all, isn’t that what makes a Lambo and Lambo?
