The Fiat 500 soars 47% in Slovenia in November.

The Slovenian new car market is almost perfectly stable in November at -0.2% or just 9 sales year-on-year to 5.323 units, leading to a year-to-date tally down -3.2% to 68.714. On the brands podium, Volkswagen (+10.9%) stands tall with the only year-on-year gain just as Renault (-4.4%) and Skoda (-11.9%) both lose ground. Fiat (+89.5%) and Peugeot (+52.9%) complete the Top 5 in spectacular fashion, with Nissan (+50.4%), Citroen (+17.2%) and Toyota (+16%) also standing out in the remainder of the Top 10. Model-wise, Volkswagen places the Golf (-26%) and Polo (-10.8%) on top despite hefty losses, with the Fiat 500 (+47%) up 52 ranks on October to #3. Leader for at least the past 16 years and clear #1 so far in 2019, the Renault (-56.1%) is back up 5 spots on last month to #4 but loses over half its November 2018 volume. The Fiat Panda (+230%), Skoda Kodiaq (+96.9%), Nissan Qashqai (+70.2%) post the largest gains in the Top 10, with the Peugeot 2008 (+44.8%) also very strong. Best-selling new launch by far, the VW T-Cross (#6) distances the Skoda Scala (#27) and Kamiq (#46).
