Serbia October 2019: VW places Arteon at #3, Tiguan at #6 in market up 9%

The VW Arteon lands on the Serbian podium in October.

Thanks to our Central European partner CE Auto, we can share with you today Serbian sales data for October. Registrations in the country are up a solid 9% year-on-year this month to 2.857 units, leading to a year-to-date volume up 6% to 29.505. The Skoda Octavia (-8.1%) reclaims the top spot off the Skoda Fabia (stable) which now only leads by 17 units year-to-date. It’s a Volkswagen month in Serbia, with two nameplates breaking into the Top 10 for the first time: the Arteon shoots up to equal #3 with the Fiat Tipo and the Tiguan is up to #6, becoming the best-selling SUV in the country above the Hyundai Tucson (#7) and Dacia Duster (#10).
