Bulgaria October 2019: Nissan (+412.6%) leaps to first place, sales up 13.6%
Nissan tops the Bulgarian brands ranking in October.
New car sales in Bulgaria leap up 13.6% year-on-year in October to 3.665 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 6.9% to 37.326. Nissan (+412.6%) lodges another spectacular progression and easily takes the lead of the brands ranking for the month at 14.4% share vs. 8.9% for #2 Toyota (-3.8%). However it is estimated that a huge 69% of Nissans sold in Bulgaria so far in 2019 have had their registration cancelled, meaning they were re-exported to other countries in the European Union. Leader year-to-date, Dacia (-19.3%) dives down to #3 in October, distancing Volkswagen (+33%) and Renault (-12.1%). Hyundai (+89.9%) and Mercedes (+70%) also impress in the remainder of the Top 10 while further down Isuzu (+1700%), Kia (+103.2%) and Volvo (+55.7%) stun.
