Serbia August 2019: Fiat monopolises podium with Tipo, 500L and 500, places 6 nameplates in Top 10

The Fiat Tipo is the best-selling vehicle in Serbia in August.

Based on data shared by our Central European market data partner CE Auto, the Serbian new car market is up 11% year-on-year in August to 2.803 registrations, lifting the year-to-date volume up 6.7% to 24.343 units. Fiat places a record 6 nameplates in the Serbian Top 10 this month and monopolises the podium with the Fiat Tipo (+235.6%) best-seller for the 2nd time in the past 3 months and ever, followed by the Fiat 500L (+46.8%) and 500 at equal #2. The Fiat Ducato (#6), Panda (#8) and Doblo (#10) also make it into the August Top 10. The Skoda Fabia (-32.1%) however holds onto the YTD lead, only 10 units above the Skoda Octavia (-39.1%).
