Kosovo Full Year 2018: Dacia Sandero best-seller
The Dacia Sandero is the most popular nameplate in Kosovo this year.
For the second year in a row we can share with you exclusive models data for Kosovo – make sure you also check out our Kosovo visit as one of the 10 countries in 10 days with a Dacia Logan. The total new car sales volume for Kosovo is up 114.5% on 2017 at 3.649 sales, which seems unnatural and most probably is the result of more brands being added to official data as this is still an under-reported market. In this context, the Dacia Sandero smashes the competition with a stunning 10.3% share whereas it didn’t appear in the 2017 Top 10, well above the Renault Captur at 4.6% and last year’s leader the Skoda Rapid (+38.7%) at 4.2%. Dacia also places the Duster at #4 while the Suzuki Vitara (+233.3%) rounds up the Top 5. More in line with our observations in Prizren, the VW Golf soars to #6, with the VW Tiguan also making it into the Top 10, while the Peugeot 508 surprisingly ends the year just outside.
