Latvia October 2018: VW Tiguan leaps to #1, market down 7.4%

The VW Tiguan is the best-selling vehicle in Latvia in October.

According to figures released by our partner JATO Dynamics, the Estonian new car market is down 7.4% year-on-year in October to 1.309 units, but the year-to-date volume remains in positive at +4.8% to 14.798. The VW Tiguan (+111%) spectacularly snaps this month’s pole position with 6.1% share, distancing the Toyota RAV4 (+78%), Auris (+100%) and Skoda Octavia (+235%) in a fantastically performing Top 4. The Kia Sportage (-68%), VW Passat (-63%), Golf (-49%) and Nissan Qashqai (-32%) on the other hand are in dire straits.
