Kazakhstan November 2018: Hyundai soars 127% in market up 14.9%

The Elantra (+226%) helps Hyundai up 127% in November in Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh new car market soars 14.9% year-on-year in November to 5.691 registrations, meaning the year-to-date tally is now up 25.3% to 55.213. Lada (+32%) remains the most popular carmaker in the country, buy Hyundai (+127%) more than doubles its sales year-on-year to overtake Toyota (+44%) for 2nd place overall in November. Kia (+70%), Renault (+59%) and Nissan (+44%) also stun in the Top 10 while GAZ (-39%) struggles. Model-wise, the Toyota Camry (+52%) cements its YTD leadership ahead of the Lada Vesta (+239%) and 4×4 (+24%) while the Hyundai Elantra (+226%) and Tucson (+220%) both post spectacular gains to round up the Top 5. Notice also the Hyundai Santa Fe (+1120%), UAZ Patriot (+800%), Kia Rio (+416%), Toyota Corolla (+168%) and Prado (+103%) signing very healthy upticks.
