Serbia August 2018: Skoda Octavia (+92%) and Fabia (+328%) triumph
Skoda Octavia sales almost double year-on-year in August in Serbia.

Based on data shared by our Central European market data partner CE Auto, the Serbian new car market is up 7.2% year-on-year in August to 2.524 registrations, lifting the year-to-date volume up 9.2% to 22.816 units. The Skoda Octavia (+92%) reclaims the pole position it holds year-to-date but by the slimmest of margins: just one sale more than the Skoda Fabia (+328%) now threatening the Fiat 500L for the #2 YTD spot. In fact both the Octavia (+47%) and Fabia (+45%) display gargantuan improvements so far in 2018 when the Fiat 500L freefalls 31%. The Renault Clio (+45%), Fiat Panda (#6), Dacia Sandero (+64%) and Opel Astra (+63%) also shine.
