According to data released by our Central European data partner CE Auto, new car sales in Serbia are up 19.2% year-on-year in July to 2.760 registrations, lifting the YTD volume up 9.2% to 20.223 units. The Skoda Fabia edges past the Octavia to become this month’s best-seller in Serbia for just one unit, while the Fiat Tipo is up three spots on June to break onto the Serbian podium for the first time in history. The Skoda Superb (+54%) also shines at #4 as does the Dacia Duster (#5) scoring its second Top 10 finish in four years (#10 in November 2016) and its highest ranking since August 2014 (#2). The VW Polo (#6) and Citroen C3 (#8) also make themselves noticed whereas the locally-produced Fiat 500L slips outside the Top 10 even though it remains #2 year-to-date.
