Latvia July 2018: Nissan Qashqai leads, Skoda Octavia shines

The Nissan Qashqai is the most popular nameplate in Estonia in July.

According to data released by our partner JATO Dynamics, new car sales in Latvia drop 0.7% year-on-year in July to 1.398 registrations, meaning the year-to-date volume is now up 4.4% to 10.468. The Nissan Qashqai (+5%) is the most popular nameplate in the country this month, ahead of the YTD leader the VW Golf (+18%) and the Skoda Octavia (+150%). The VW Tiguan soars 53% year-on-year and four spots on June to #4, above the Toyota RAV4 (+25%) and Auris (-12%). The Toyota Avensis (#8) cracks the YTD Top 10 at #10, dislodging the Peugeot 308.
