Luxembourg June 2018: VW Golf and Mercedes GLC top market up 8.1%

The Mercedes GLC is the 2nd most popular nameplate in Luxembourg in June.

According to data released by our partner JATO Dynamics, new car sales in Luxembourg rally back up 8.1% year-on-year in June to 5.627 meaning the year-to-date tally is now up 5.9% to 30.655 unit. The VW Golf surges 76% on June 2017 to remain in pole position despite a market share (3.6%) well below its YTD level (4.4%). The Mercedes GLC (+13%) leaps up two spots on May to land at an outstanding 2nd place, distancing the VW Tiguan (+34%, Audi A3 (+7%) and VW Polo (+64%) boosted by the new generation. The Peugeot 308 (+176%), 3008 (+25%), Skoda Octavia (+16%) and BMW X1 (+11%) also shine.
