The Skoda Octavia posts a second consecutive month in pole position despite a steep 26% year-on-year drop, but this isn’t enough to reclaim the YTD lead off the Skoda Fabia, down an even harsher 37% this month but up 3% YTD vs. +1% for the Octavia. The Skoda Rapid (-9%) completes a podium 100% Skoda as is the norm in Slovakia. The Hyundai Tucson soars 27% to become the best-selling non-Skoda nameplate in the country for the month, outselling the Kia Cee’d (+7%) and Hyundai i30 (-4%).
