According to our Central European data partner CE Auto, 3.141 new light vehicles found a new home in Serbia in March, lifting the Q1 volume up 1.2% to 6.983. We have a surprise in pole position: for the first time since BSCB started following Serbia monthly in December 2013, the Dacia Sandero is the best-selling nameplate in the country with a stunning 6.7%, whereas it didn’t even rank in the January Top 10. The Sandero’s previous best was #2, reached in June 2014, April 2016 and April 2017. The French-Romanian compact topples the Skoda Rapid (down to #10 this month) while the 2017 leader the locally-produced Fiat 500L is back up one spot to #2 and the 2018 YTD leader the Skoda Octavia is down one to #3.

Previous month: Serbia February 2018: Skoda leads, places 4 nameplates in YTD Top 5

Previous year: Serbia Full Year 2017: Fiat 500L maintains lead for third year in a row
