Thanks to our partnership with JATO Dynamics, we can share with you today Lithuanian new car sales for March when the market leaps up 34.5% year-on-year to 2.761 units, lifting the Q1 2018 volume up 17.3% to 6.477 registrations. Things are getting back to normal in the models ranking: after spending the first two months of the year uncharacteristically outside the Top 10, the Fiat 500 – annual leader in Lithuania since 2012 – reclaims the pole position both in March (17% share) and YTD (8.5%) despite sales down 20% and 6% respectively. The Fiat 500X is also back to its 2017 ranking at #2, up 82% in March and up 99% YTD. Below the winning Fiat duet, the Toyota C-HR posts a stunning performance with sales up 232% year-on-year in third place, distancing the Skoda Octavia, Nissan Qashqai and Toyota RAV4. The Fiat Tipo (+59%) is also back inside the Lithuanian Top 10: it ranks #7 in March, earring itself a 10th spot YTD.
