Israel April 2018: Hyundai leads, Mitsubishi (+47%) and Renault (+36%) shine

Thanks to our partnership with cartube.co.il, we can share with you today April brands data for Israel, models data is now a quarterly occurrence. New car sales in the country edge down by just 22 units year-on-year to 19.493, leading to a year-to-date volume down 3.7% to 113.833 units. Hyundai cements its leadership thanks to a 17% year-on-year surge to 15%, frankly above sister company Kia down 12% to 12.4% while Toyota (-4%) rounds up the podium at 11.8% share. Skoda (+9%) is up one spot on March to #4, Suzuki (-11%) is up two to #5, Mitsubishi (+47%) up three to #6 and Renault (+36%) up one to #7. Seat (+21%) and Chevrolet (+12%) also shine inside the Top 10 whereas Mazda tumbles down 37%. Further down, Infiniti (+275%), Peugeot (+81%), Citroen (+60%), Volvo (+18%) and Mercedes (+17%) also impress while MG is back in the game at #29.
