Lithuania January 2018: Skoda Octavia surprise leader

The Skoda Octavia is the most popular nameplate in Lithuania in January.

Thanks to our partnership with JATO Dynamics, we can share with you today Lithuanian new car sales for January, up 15.4% year-on-year to 2.111 registrations. Surprise on top: the Skoda Octavia is the best-seller this month thanks to deliveries up 47%, ahead of the Fiat 500X up almost 5-fold on its January 2017 score to 5.3% share. The Toyota RAV4 (+29%) rounds up the podium above the Toyota C-HR (+69%) making its very first Top 10 appearance in Lithuania at a stunning 4th place. The Toyota Avensis gains 59% to #7 and the Skoda Kodiaq also appears in the Lithuanian Top 10 for the first time at #9. Oddly, the Fiat 500 and Tipo, respectively #1 and #2 in December, don’t make it to the January Top 10.
