Kazakhstan February 2018: Lada 4×4 reclaims control

Thanks to our partnership with autoconsulting.kz we can share with you today February data for Kazakhstan, with sales up 48.9% year-on-year to 4.233 leading to a year-to-date volume up 41.2% to 7.495. Russian carmaker Lada remains in the lead thanks to deliveries up 55% to 21.4% share, followed by Toyota up 67% to 18.6%, Ravon up 221% to 12.1% and Hyundai up 228% to 11.9%, the Top 4 carmakers holding a gargantuan 64% of the Kazakh market this month. Chinese manufacturer JAC surges 110% to rank #8 overall, Kamaz is up 143% to #10 while Subaru (+355%), Isuzu (+340%) and Skoda (+100%) also impress in the Top 20. Model-wise, the valiant Lada 4×4 reclaims the lead even though it only gains 16% year-on-year to hit 7% share. It is followed by the 2017 leader, the Toyota Camry (+37%) while the Lada Granta soars 120% to land on the third step of the podium. The Ravon Nexia R3 (+88%) and Hyundai Tucson (+959%) round out the Top 5 with the Ravon R4 (up 42-fold), Toyota Prado (+258%) and Lada Vesta (up 62-fold) also posting spectacular gains in the Top 10.
