UK nations January 2018: First Top 10 for Vauxhall Crossland X
The Vauxhall Crossland X ranks 8th in Scotland, its first Top 10 in any UK nation.

Thanks to our partnership with SMMT we can share with you the Top 10 best-sellers for all UK nations in January. Keep in mind this is a zoom in by nation, all sales figures are included in the January 2018 UK update. As the largest market in the UK, England almost matches the overall 6.3% drop at -5.8% to 140.831 units, with Northern Ireland (-1.4% to 6.049) and Wales (-5.5% to 5.333) faring better but Scotland (-15.1% to 10.900) faring worse. For the first time in over 1 and a half years (since June 2016), the Ford Fiesta is #1 in all UK nations, distancing the VW Golf in England and Northern Ireland and the Ford Focus in Scotland and Wales. The Vauxhall Mokka X manages to rank inside every nation’s Top 5: #3 in Scotland and Wales and #5 in England and Northern Ireland. Looking at specificities within nations, in England the Mercedes C-Class is up to #7 (vs. #10 in the UK overall), in Northern Ireland the Skoda Superb (#4) scores its first Top 10 since BSCB started following UK nations monthly in 2013 while the Seat Ibiza (#8) hits its first Top 10 since September 2016. Finally the Vauxhall Crossland X posts its very first Top 10 ranking of any UK nation at #8 in Scotland.
