Bosnia & Herzegovina May 2017: Opel Astra edges past Skoda Octavia

The Opel Astra is the best-seller in Bosnia this month, just one unit above the Skoda Octavia.

Thanks to our partnership with Central European market data partner CE Auto, we can share with you today May sales for Bosnia & Herzegovina, a market up 27% year-on-year to 1.010 units which leads to a year-to-date total up 20% to 4.292 sales. This month the Opel Astra (+34%) edges past the Skoda Octavia (+32%) for just one unit and accesses the #2 YTD spot just as the Octavia holds onto its lead thanks to sales up 21% so far in 2017. The VW Passat surges 84% to #3, the VW Caddy is up 52% to #4 and the Toyota RAV4 posts another strong month at #5, allowing the nameplate to enter the Top 10 YTD. The VW Golf (-51%), Skoda Fabia (-10%) and Renault Clio (-7%) struggle this month.
