Final figures for Europe 29 markets (Turkey and Russia excluded) are now available, settling for a 4.9% year-on-year gain to 1.176.026 units which lifts the year-to-date tally up 6.6% to 13.835.067. Outside the already familiar Top 50 best-selling models, notice the Toyota RAV4 up 129% to #67, the Seat Ateca up 11 spots on October to #69, the Ford Ka+ down 5 ranks to #113 vs. #211 year-to-date and the Jaguar F-Pace down 3 to #123 vs. #164 so far this year.

We welcome two all-new nameplates in the European sales charts in November: firstly, the Toyota C-HR lands at #138 with over 2.300 sales. This means the C-HR is already outselling the Honda HR-V (1.999) while the Mazda CX-3 (3.961) remains at a fair distance for now, but this will change very soon as the C-HR gears up at the start of 2017.

The Suzuki Ignis for its part points its bonnet at a much more discreet #249 with just above 200 deliveries so far. Other improving recent launches (<12 months) include – in sales order – the Alfa Romeo Giulia (+8), Kia Niro (+3), Hyundai Ioniq (+4), Infiniti Q30 (+6), Maserati Levante (+8), Tesla Model X (+5), Skoda Kodiaq (+19) and Infiniti QX30 (+14).
