Portugal November 2016: Toyota C-HR lands inside Top 50

New car sales in Portugal are up by an impressive 23% year-on-year in November to 16.483 registrations, meaning the year-to-date tally is now up 15% on the same period last year to 190.342. Renault (+51%) and Peugeot (+34%) dominate the brands ranking and both frankly outperform the market, followed by Volkswagen (+5%), BMW (+1%) and Mercedes (+2%). Opel (+27%), Kia (+45%), Citroen (+51%), Mazda (+54%), Mitsubishi (+59%), Seat (+81%) and Hyundai (+139%) all make themselves noticed inside the Top 25. Model-wise, the Renault Clio (+22%) continues to dominate at 5.3% share, ahed of the Renault Mégane (+165%), Peugeot 208 (+38%), Seat Ibiza (+109%) and VW Golf (-19%). The Citroen C3 (+85%), Peugeot 2008 (+41%), Toyota Yaris (+37%), VW Up (+266%) and Peugeot 3008 (+173%) also shine. The Toyota C-HR instantly lands inside the Top 50 at #43, while the Renault Kadjar finally reaches the Portuguese market one year after the rest of Europe, landing at #134.
