Greece November 2016: Yaris leads, Tiguan shoots up to #6

The Greek new car market is up by a shy 0.6% year-on-year in November to 5.897 registrations, with the year-to-date now up 7% at 74.108 units. Toyota remains the most popular manufacturer in the country with 12.8% share despite sales down 23% to 757. The Japanese carmaker distances Opel (+12%), Volkswagen (+10%), Ford (+36%) and Fiat (+20%). Notice also Mercedes (+30%), Renault (+95%), Honda (+193%) and Mitsubishi (up 25-fold!) all posting spectacular increases. Model-wise, the Toyota Yaris (-23%), Opel Corsa (+2%), Astra (+38%), Nissan Qashqai (+43%) and Renault Clio (+103%) dominate while the VW Tiguan (#6) shoots up well above its year-to-date level (#45).
