Thanks to our partnership with cartube.co.il we can now share with you both brands and models data for Israel in September / Q3 as models data is now a quarterly occurrence for this market. New car sales in September advance a whopping 67% year-on-year to 24.878 registrations, lifting the year-to-date tally up 20% to 245.131. Thanks to sales up a staggering 249% on September 2015, Hyundai reclaim the brands top spot it holds year-to-date at 3.788 and 15.2% share, overtaking August leader Kia at 3.500 and 14.1% (+56%). Toyota (+24%), Mitsubishi (+19%) and Skoda (+74%) follow, with Suzuki (+227%), Renault (+126%), Chevrolet (+157%), Seat (+145%), Honda (+179%), Dacia (+218%) and Ford (+269%) all posting spectacular gains.
The Hyundai Tucson ranks #3 in Israel so far this year.
Model-wise, the Kia Sportage triumphs with 12.322 sales year-to-date (+41%), dislodging the Kia Picanto (+20%) from pole position while the Hyundai Tucson steps up to third place overall ahead of the Toyota Corolla (-9%) and Mitsubishi Outlander (+118%). The Hyundai i25 (+29%), Seat Ibiza (+32%), Subaru Impreza (+39%), Skoda Rapid (+63%) and Suzuki Vitara (+1094%) all shine inside the Top 20. Among recent launches (<12 months), notice the Hyundai Elantra at #28, the Suzuki Baleno at #48, Honda HR-V at #57, Suzuki Celerio at #74 and Renault Kadjar at #89.
