Greece July 2016: Toyota Yaris back in charge, Fiat Panda up to #2

In July, the Greek new car market continues to seesaw its way through recovery with sales up a splendid 29% to 7.034 after dipping 1.5% in June and gaining 49% in May. Strikingly, all five best-selling manufacturers frankly outpace the market: Toyota is up 43% to hold onto the pole position, ahead of Nissan (+60%), Volkswagen (+48%), Fiat (+196%) and Opel (+50%). Reversely, Peugeot (-27%) and Suzuki (-22%) struggle. Below, more carmakers post spectacular gains, such as Mercedes (+57%), Ford (+65%), Honda (+108%), BMW (+118%), Seat (+129%), Alfa Romeo (+176%) and Dacia (+643%). Model-wise, the Toyota Yaris reclaims the top spot it holds year-to-date thanks to deliveries up 65% to 610, followed by the Fiat Panda up 187% to 365 and the Nissan Micra up 451% to 314. Notice also the Citroen C3 up 63% to #9, the Seat Leon up 396% to #10, Ford Fiesta up 103% to #13, Nissan Pulsar up 111% to #16, the Dacia Duster up to #21, BMW X1 up to #23 and the Suzuki Baleno up to #24.
