Venezuela June 2016: Ford last manufacturer left in atone market

The Ford Explorer is the best-selling vehicle in Venezuela so far in 2016.

The Venezuelan new car market is only but a shadow of itself at just 243 registrations in June, down 87% year-on-year and pulling the year-to-date total down 85% to 1.704 units. American manufacturer Ford is the only left to sell vehicles in the country, accounting for 88.5% of the market in June and 79% so far in 2016. Its Explorer leads the sales charts followed by the Ecosport, F-350, Fiesta and F-250.
