No signs of improvement for new car sales in Uruguay, down another 12% year-on-year in November to 3.645 registrations, still slightly handicapped by Chery not publishing data. This score pulls the year-to-date total down 7% to 43.937 units. Suzuki follows the market at -11% to 13.8% share and celebrates one full year (12 consecutive months) in the Uruguayan pole position: the Japanese carmaker became #1 for the first time here in November 2014 and never looked back. Fiat on the other hand is up a whopping 81% to 12.3% share, potentially thanks to the arrival of the Nuevo Uno Way (pictured above) and very far above its 8% year-to-date level. Volkswagen (-8%), Chevrolet (-29%) and Nissan (-39%) lose ground, but Renault (+10%), Kia (+89%), Peugeot (+35%) and BYD (+9%) impress.
