Colombia November 2015: Kia and Mazda up in market down 18%

Kia sales are up 3% year-on-year in Colombia in November.

No sign of improvement for the Colombian new car market, down another 18% year-on-year to 21.021 registrations, pulling the year-to-date total down 11% to 253.800 units. Chevrolet stays on top despite falling harder than the market at -22% to 23.5% market share vs. 24% year-to-date. Renault is down 14% to 18% in 2nd place, while Kia is actually up 3% to round up the podium at 11.6% vs. 9.8% so far in 2015. There are only two other manufacturers posting positive results inside the Top 30: Mazda up 28% to #6 and heavy vehicle maker Hino up 52% to #12. Nissan (-3%), Volkswagen (-5%), Mercedes (-2%) and Volvo (-6%) also gain market share.
