Poland September 2015: Skoda Fabia reclaims lead

Another very dynamic month for new car sales in Poland, up 16% year-on-year in September to 31.907 registrations including light commercials, lifting the year-to-date total to 295.182 units, up 6.5% on 2014. Skoda holds onto the brands pole position with sales up 3% to 10.1% share, above Volkswagen at 9.3% (+43%), Toyota at 8.2% (+15%) and Ford at 8.1% (+23%). Notice also Renault up 26%, Suzuki up 38%, Nissan up 40%, Lexus up 51%, BMW up 54%, Porsche up 82%, Jeep up 117% and Mini up 131%. For the third time in four months, the Skoda Fabia is the most popular vehicle in Poland thanks to 999 sales and 3.1% share, distancing the year-to-date leader the Skoda Octavia at 922 and 2.9%. The VW Golf rounds up the podium, the Nissan Qashqai is up 17 spots on August to #4, the Toyota Avensis is solid at #14 thanks to the new model, the Skoda Superb surges up to #18, the Hyundai Tucson breaks into the Top 50 at #32, the Suzuki Vitara is holding strong at #38 as is the Lexus NX at #50.
