Bosnia & Herzegovina May 2015: Skoda Ocatvia takes control

The Skoda Octavia is now the best-selling model in Bosnia year-to-date.

Based on data communicated by Central European market data specialists www.ceauto.co.hu, new car sales in Bosnia & Herzegovina are up a whopping 58% year-on-year in May to 645 registrations, lifting the year-to-date total back into positive territory to 2.875 units, up 7% on 2014. Skoda has an outstanding month, placing the Octavia at #1 with 12.9% share, the Rapid at #2 with 6.2% and the Fabia at #5 with 3.3%. The advantage the Octavia has on all other nameplates in the country is such that it also snaps the top spot year-to-date at 209 units and 7.3%, outpacing the Opel Astra (162 and 5.6%). Notice also the Opel Insignia making a rare appearance inside the Bosnian Top 10 at #8.
