Romania May 2015: Fiat 500L climbs further up
Fiat 500L hits a record-breaking 6th place in Romania in May.

May marks the second month of 2015 in negative in Romania after January with overall registrations down 1% to 5.927 units but the year-to-date total remains 6% above its level one year ago at 25.842 deliveries. Despite sales down 3% on May 2014, domestic manufacturer Dacia lodges a market share of 31.1%, above its year-to-date level of 30.5%. It is followed by Skoda (+25%), Volkswagen (+10%), Renault (-12%), Ford (-22%) and Opel (-21%). Further down, notice Mercedes and Audi up 18%, BMW up 48%, Land Rover up 53%, Citroen up 50% and Jeep up 44%. Over in the models ranking, the Dacia Logan and Duster stay in command, with the Skoda Rapid now #4 year-to-date below its larger sibling the Octavia. The Fiat 500L is up a further 4 spots to a record-breaking 6th place, the Renault Clio is up 10 to #7, the Captur up two to #9, the Ford Mondeo up 8 to #15, Opel Mokka up 33 to #21 and the Honda Civic up 43 to #30.
