Bosnia & Herzegovina March 2015: Opel Astra triumphs

The Opel Astra is the best-selling nameplate in Bosnia so far this year.

Based on data made available by Central European specialists www.ceauto.co.hu, the Bosnian new car market is up a bumping 25% year-on-year in March to 675 registrations, with First Quarter sales now down a mere 3% to 1,567. The Opel Astra brilliantly tops the Bosnian sales charts both this month (6.7% share) and over the First Quarter (5.9%), making Bosnia one of the rare countries in the world where the Astra outsells its once archenemy the VW Golf (#2 and #3 respectively here). The Skoda Octavia and Fabia round up the Top 4 while the VW Passat makes the March Top 5 100% VAG Group. Finally, notice the Hyundai i30 up to #6 and the Dacia Logan MCV up to #9, outselling the sedan variant.
