Is this good news? The French new car market is up by an extremely shy 0.2% year-on-year in March after 16 days. Positive territory, granted, but on a slow base in 2014. Peugeot keeps the lead of the brands ranking for now despite sales down 3%, with Renault (+13%) and Citroen (+4%) behind. Toyota and Ford, both up 14%, also shine in the Top 10. Model-wise, the Renault Clio IV already holds its traditional top spot despite Renault always backloading its monthly sales and thanks to deliveries up a fantastic 38% year-on-year, the Peugeot 308 is up 36% to #3, the Renault Captur up 14% to #7 and the Renault Mégane is back in shape at #8 and +35%.
