Poland September 2014: Nissan Qashqai & Opel Mokka shine

New Polish cars and light commercial vehicle sales are up a very robust 11% year-on-year in September to 27,301 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 274,020 units, up 14% on 2013. Brand-wise, below Skoda at 11.5%, Toyota takes advantage of a particularly weak month from Volkswagen (down to #5) to take 2nd place at 8.3% share, followed by Opel and Ford. Notice also Nissan up to #9 and 4.3% vs. #13 year-to-date. In the models ranking, the Skoda Octavia reclaims the pole position it holds year-to-date, kicking its lil sis the Skoda Fabia to #2, while the VW Golf rounds up the podium once again, earning it a #4 spot year-to-date above the Toyota Auris. Excellent performances of the Fiat Ducato at #6, Nissan Qashqai at #9 (its first Top 10 ranking in Poland since July 2013), Renault Master at #10, Toyota Corolla at #18, Mazda3 at #19, the Opel Mokka breaking its all-time ranking record at #28, Ford Ka at #29 and Volvo XC60 at #31.
