Vietnam June 2014: Toyota Vios confirms pole position

The Toyota Vios is the most popular vehicle in Vietnam for the 2nd month running.

New car sales in Vietnam are still going strong: up a massive 32% year-on-year in June to 10,853 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 54,986 units, up 27% on 2013. Thanks to the new generation launched in the past couple of months, the Toyota Vios remains the best-selling model in the country for the 2nd month in a row with 779 sales and 7.2% share, however it remains #3 year-to-date at 3,030 units and 5.5% below the Toyota Fortuner (6.9%) and Innova (6.7%). Toyota also launched the new Yaris this month and it lands directly in 12th position with 213 sales and 2% share. This means we could have 6 Toyotas in the Vietnamese Top 7 best-sellers very soon…
