Poland June 2014: Skoda Octavia leads, Dacia Duster shines

The Polish new car market is up a timid 0.7% year-on-year in June to 28,671 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 194,468 units, up 17% on 2013, keeping in mind these figures include light commercial vehicles. The Skoda Octavia remains the most popular vehicle in the country thanks to 1,206 sales and 4.2% share, ahead of the Ford Focus at 3.2%, Skoda Fabia at 2.7% and Opel Astra at 2.6%. The Dacia Duster shines: up 7 spots on May to #6 with 703 units and 2.5%, lifting Dacia to #7 brand overall. Notice also the Renault Clio up 3 to #8, the Renault Master #10 again, the Renault Captur up 23 to #22, Kia Rio up 14 to #24, the Mazda6 at #31 vs. #44 year-to-date and the Suzuki Swift up to #33.
