Czech Republic June 2014: Seat Leon confirms Top 10 spot

The Czech new car market gains a beautiful 25% year-on-year in June to 18,171 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 94,058 units, up 16% on 2013. Below the Skoda Octavia still head and shoulders above the competition at 9.8% market share, the Skoda Fabia reclaims the #2 spot it held over the Full Year 2013 off its big sis the Skoda Rapid thanks to 1,069 units and 5.9% vs. 1,004 and 5.5%. It is the first time since last December that the Fabia outsells the Rapid at home. The VW Golf is back up to the 4th place overall and #1 foreigner spot it holds year-to-date, knocking the Hyundai i30 down to #5, while the Skoda Superb and Yeti make it 5 Skodas in the Top 7. Notice also the Seat Leon lodging its 2nd consecutive month (and ever) in the Top 10 at #9, the Hyundai i20 up 13 spots on May to #10, the Nissan Qashqai up 12 to #22, Opel Meriva up 33 to #23 and the BMW 4 Series back inside the Top 100 at #92.
