The first November sales figures are starting to trickle down, and this month Iceland is the fastest off the starting blocks. As polar winter slowly envelops the country, 344 new vehicles found a buyer in Iceland in November, down a harsh 37% year-on-year. The year-to-date total now stands at 7,282 units, down 8% on 2012. The Toyota Yaris remains the best-selling model in the country thanks to 26 sales and 7.6% share but its year-to-date deficit on the Skoda Octavia is too big (85 units) to hope to finish in first place in 2013 like in 2012. The VW Golf is up 4 spots on last month to a nice 2nd spot with 5.5% share, while the Chevrolet Cruze is up 8 to #3 and 4.7% vs. 2.2% year-to-date. Notice also the Renault Clio up to #7 vs. #28, the Kia Picanto up to #9 vs. #31, Land Rover Discovery up to #15 vs. #46 and Mazda3 up to #16 vs. #44.
