Thanks to Furkan and for the very first time on BestSellingCarsBlog I can share with you an All-models ranking for Turkey! This ranking includes Light Commercial Vehicles, with which March figures go up to 68,774 registrations with Q1 2013 at 152,604 units. Like in 2012, Passenger Cars now dominate the ranking with the Renault Symbol in the lead in March followed by the Fiat Linea and the Fiat Doblo rounding up the podium with 2,260 sales and 3.3% ahead of the Ford Transit at 1,963 units and 2.9%.
Most of the Top 30 has already been covered in the previous Turkey March 2013 article, but let’s notice the Dacia Dokker taking off at #30 with 805 sales and 1.2% (vs. 889 year-to-date), making it the third Dacia in the Top 30 below the Sandero at #23 and the Duster at #27. Below it is uncharted territories as never before had I had access to such detailed Turkish data! The Mercedes A-Class shines at #40, the new generation pushes the Renault Clio SW up to #47, the Dacia Lodgy breaks into the Top 50 at #48, the Skoda Rapid is up to a brilliant 58th place, the Volvo S60 surprises at #61 as does the Renault Latitude at #63 while the Peugeot 208 disappoints at #68.
There is one Turkish brand I had not heard of before that appears in the ranking: Karsan places the J10 bus at #91 with 150 sales this month. As far as Chinese models are concerned they are still relatively shy in the Turkish ranking but present nevertheless: the best-seller in March is the Chery Niche at #138, followed by the Geely Emgrand EC7 at #166, Chery Chance at #169 and Chery Tiggo at #170.
