Poland October 2011: VW Golf up to #4

The Polish car market is down a worrying 17% in October at 22,624 registrations and down 7% year-to-date at 223,222 units. 8th month in a row in the lead for the Skoda Octavia, this time with 1,236 sales and a robust 5.5% market share, just below its 2011 level which is 5.7% thanks to 12,800 units. The Opel Astra stays 2nd with 896 sales and 4%, here too nearly reaching its 2011 share (4.2%).

The Skoda Fabia climbs back onto the podium at 786 units and 3.5%, followed by the VW Golf, in great shape at #4 with 660 sales and 2.9%, up one spot on September and 5 on its year-to-date ranking at #9 with 2% of the Polish market. The Nissan Qashqai is up one rank to #6 and the Fiat Panda is up 3 spots to #7.
