The French market is down 13% year-on-year in June at 210,172 registrations, not that bad given the scrappage scheme has stopped and there is two less working days in the month this year.
The Renault Clio and Peugeot 207 swap positions again, with the Clio on top this month with 10,305 sales and 4.9% and the 207 at #2 with 10,145 units and 4.8%. The Clio is also ahead year-to-date at 61,851 units vs. 60,854 for the 207, both models at 5% of the French market.
The Renault Megane is on the podium for the 2nd time in 3 months with 7,584 sales and 3.6%, just above the Citroen C3 and Peugeot 308, all at 3.6%. The Renault Scenic is up 2 spots at #6 and the Peugeot 3008 stays strong at #7.
A couple of new French models are sparkling: the Peugeot 508 is up 1 spot to #18 with 3,408 units and 1.6% share and the Citroen DS4 breaks into the monthly Top 50 for the very first time at #43 with 1,401 sales and 0.7%.
