The Argentinean car market is up for the 18th time in a row in April at +27% with 64,639 registrations. The year-to-date figure is up an impressive 28% at 295,272 units. Cumulative ACARA data still doesn’t split all versions so I’ve kept this month’s ranking like last month’s – no split. This means this the VW Gol takes off in the ranking with 4,948 sales and 7.7% (2,637 of which are Gol Trend) making it #1 year-to-date as well.

The Chevrolet Classic/Corsa is #2 at 3,452 sales and 5.3%. A ranking of versions would actually put the Chevrolet Classic in the pole position with 3,158 sales (4.9%). The Ford Ecosport has another very solid month at #3 with 2,479 units, just above the Peugeot 207 at 2,477 and the Renault Sandero at 2,094. The VW Bora continues to progress in 6th place at 3.1%.

Renault Koleos

Other good performances this month include the Citroen C3 up 13 spots at #16 thanks to the Aircross version, the Peugeot 408 up 10 spots at #35 and the Renault Koleos up 21 spots at #63.
