France October 2010: DS3 in Top 10!
-18% for the French car market in October at 171,449 registrations, and 16 of the 20 best selling models see their sales drop over last year.
The biggest event this month is the incredible arrival of the Citroen DS3 in the Top 10. 15th in September, the premium mini lands in 10th with 3,962 registrations and a glowing 2.3% of the market! C3+DS3 sales reach 9,733, ahead of the Peugeot 207! Pictured below is the DS3 World Rally Car, that Sebastien Loeb will drive in 2011.
The Renault Clio III is #1 in France for the 2nd consecutive month, and its lead over the Peugeot 207 is such that it is now only 127 sales behind the 207 in the year-to-date rankings. The end of the year will be a close fight between the two models.
The Peugeot 3008 continues its formidable career in 8th at 2.6%, ahead of the VW Polo, best foreigner anew at 2.5%. There are only 4 foreign cars in the Top 20.
