Denmark 2007: VW Passat and Peugeot 207 dominate
Car sales in Denmark are up 4% in 2007 at 162,668 registrations. #2 in 2006, the VW Passat takes the lead in the country in 2007 with 5,290 sales and 3.3% of the market. The Peugeot 207 follows, it sold 5,070 units (3.1% share) for its first full year of sales.
Very stable, the Skoda Fabia ranks 3rd again at 4,686 sales and 2.9%, just above last year’s leader the Toyota Avensis at 4,601 sales and 2.8%. The Suzuki Swift stays 5th at 2.7% share, and the Opel Corsa (#6) and Citroen C4 Picasso (#9) both break into the Top 10.
