Slovakia 2000: Skoda Felicia’s swan song

The Skoda Felicia is the best-selling vehicle in Slovakia for the last year.

54,718 new cars found a buyer in Slovakia in 2000. Skoda holds 57.2% share, compared to 29.4% in 1996. The Skoda Felicia stays atop the models charts for the last year with 24.2% share, down -44% on 1999. Its replacement, the Skoda Fabia, launched in late 1999, is up to 2nd place with 20.4% share. Skoda monopolises the podium with the Octavia in third position with 12.6% share. The best of the rest iOS the Daewoo Matiz ahead of the Daewoo Lanos and Opel Astra.
