New Zealand 1977-1983: Ford Cortina best-seller
We are now able to fill a significant hole in our New Zealand Historical Data with the learning that the locally assembled Ford Cortina was the best-seller here between 1977 and 1983 with over 100,000 assembled in total during that period. Many thanks to Ricardo Acosta Antunez for the tip.

Much like in South Africa,where between 1977 and 1983 the Cortina was a top seller as well.
