Czechoslovakia 1935-1936: Tatra reclaims top spot

In 1935, the Czech new car market drops -5.2% to 8,436 units. After two years of domination by Praga (-13.8%), Tatra (+7.9%) reclaims the top spot in the brands ranking. Skoda (+14.3%) consolidates its third position with 19.8% share vs. 16.4% in 1934. Aero and Z exchange rankings to #4 and #5 respectively.
In 1936, sales shoot up 19.2% to 10,059. Tatra (+27.2%) improves its share to 28.1%, while Skoda (+60.8%) is the performer of the year and advances to #2 overall, overtaking Praga (-2.6%). Aero (+24.7%) also shines at #4. Ford (+32.3%) is the best-selling foreigner ahead of Peugeot (-2.1%) and Citroen (-17.4%).
