Thanks to our partnership with cartube.co.il we can share with you today Israeli brands data for October. After plunging 35% a year ago, the market is back up 46% to 19.829 registrations, meaning the year-to-date tally is now down just 0.3% to 257.977 units. Kia is the most popular brand in the country for the third straight month but trails the market slightly at +40% to 12.9% share. This is still not enough to topple sister brand Hyundai off the YTD lead, even though it is down 1% to just 9.3% share in third place this month, one of only three manufacturers to lose ground in the Top 20. Toyota gains 38% to 11.8%, a bit above the 11.1% it commands so far this year. Six of the next seven carmakers frankly outpace the market, with the most impressive being Renault (+185%), Subaru (+154%) and Suzuki (+152%). Nissan (+98%) and Mazda (+56%) also impress. Further down, notice Citroen (+61%), Seat (+66%), Mercedes (+67%), Fiat (+68%), Dacia (+71%), Peugeot (+89%), Lexus (+130%), Alfa Romeo (+140%), BMW (+182%) and Jeep (+192%) all posting spectacular gains.
