Israel August 2017: Kia back in charge in market down 12%

Kia is the most popular manufacturer in Israel in August.

Thanks to our partnership with cartube.co.il, we can share with you today brands data for Israel in August. This month Israeli registrations are down 12% year-on-year to 24.294 units, tilting the year-to-date total into negative territory at -1% to 218.158 deliveries. In spite of sales tumbling down 23% year-on-year, Kia is back in the brands pole position for the third time in the past four months with 13.4% share, edging past sister company Hyundai up 2% to 13.2%. Toyota (-3%) rounds up the podium as it does year-to-date. Skoda is up a timid 4% to 8% share, but the big gainers are to be found below: Honda (+21%), Renault (+33%), Nissan (+36%) and Mazda (+37%) impress whereas Mitsubishi (-70%) implodes. Further down, Audi (+19%) and Dacia (+10%) are the only other Top 20 manufacturers in positive, while Jeep (+98%) and Alfa Romeo (+122%) make themselves noticed among smaller brands.
